15 October 06 - Conclude discussion of drafts. Send recommendations to
bidders.

15 November 06 - Final drafts of tournament bids due.

07 November 06 - Conclude discussion of final drafts

14 November 06 - First round of voting on bids (Yes/No vote on proficiency)

21 November 06 - Conclude voting on final selection from among the
qualified candidates. Contact the bidder with any final issues.

28 November 06 - Announce the winning bid and publish the bid document.

December 06 through August 07 - Promote the WDC, recruit team leaders,
volunteer to staff qualifiers, verify the integrity of WDC-related
events and generally be available to do whatever is necessary to make
certain that there is a high degree of participation in the WDC. Even
with the summer doldrums, that provides time for 2-3 rounds of standard
play - most often 3 day moves or 1 week per season.

02 September 07 - Players receive their game and power assignments in
the first ever semi-annual World Diplomacy Cup.
