So here we have it, the seven players for the title of GWT Champion, Etienne, Joe, David, Guy, Mike G, Robert S, and Greg. Good Luck to you all! I will set up the games over the weekend.

And finally, in my humble opinion, the most exciting flight, Joe the Sloth Wheeler took our last spot over Conor the Author Kostick. Conor was one SC from a solo in Sundarans Forest, but Mike M, denied him the victory he needed to advance.

In Medieval, Guy put on a gunboat workshop, he scored 281 points (the highest by far), had 2 solo’s and 2 other first place finishes! DOMINATING is the word that comes to mind.

In North American, a 1910 solo for Robert S gave him the second closest points flight as he edged out Eric by 8 points. Both of them had 2 first place finishes.

In Oceanic, Greg finished 1901 on top and stayed there until the end. No one got within 50 points of him. He had 1 solo (the earliest 1908) and 2 other first place finishes. He finished with over 200 points.

In European, a dramatic battle for fifth place occurred… Just kidding that’s where I finished! In the closest victory by points, David edged out Nicolas by 7 points, both with 2 first place finishes.

We played 49 games in less than 3 months. We finished with 47 of the original 49. So right off the bat you all should be commended for your commitment. Also, a special thank you to Steve Evans and Jake Wolf for jumping in and “restarting” a couple of stalled groupings.

We had over 30 different individual game winners.

We had 10 solo’s. Four of them were with Turkey.

Germany and France each won 11 of their games. England and Austria only won 3 ½.
